Hey all - new Golf GTI Mk7 - delivered yesterday

Hi everyone.

I am a proud new owner of a Mk7 Golf GTI, and have been lurking around on the forum for a few weeks while waiting for my car to be delivered.

In terms of car history - my previous car was a 2004 Mk4 Golf Sport, so I've been in the VW Golf family for about 4.5 years now.

I decided it was time for an upgrade a couple of months ago, and after looking at the reviews on my new little beauty, there was nothing else to be considered, particularly after the 1st test drive.

Welcome. Congrats on the new GTI. What options did you get? Post some pics when you get a chance

In terms of options - nothing but the DSG.

I didn't feel the pricing for the bi-xenons made enough sense for my use of the car, but I did consider the Driver Assist package quite seriously. When I heard it would be approx 5mth wait for that particular option alone, I blanked that too.
