Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    New Owner for MKVI golf GTI

    Hey all
    currently an owner of a 2013 Golf R, but
    picked up my brand new MKVI Golf GTI (affter my runabout was written off!)
    in DSG, leather, 18' detroits, bootliner and full tank of gas at Barlowworld Five Dock last week!

    Super excited, delighted with quick and easy deal with Minh there, got me a drive away price of $40,500.00 and an umbrella to boot on a shiny carbon steel model with only 22km on the dial!

    So you have a Golf R and now a Golf GTI too? Or did the R get written off? Either way both are excellent cars as im sure you know mate, goodluck and congratulations!

      i've got the R
      and my brother uses the GTI more than I do!
