Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Mk3 Golf Wheel Change

    Hey Everyone!

New to forums and what not, was just after a bit of help with some wheel sizing.

Would anyone be able to tell me if the following wheel specifications will fit to my MK3 golf (the car has the normal mk3 golf stock flares fitted to the car) without any scrubbing etc or any other problems that might occur.

    Thanks

Tad aggressive, also would have to get centres drilled out 1mm because civic centre bore is a little smaller.

Guards would need a good roll if you wanted to go properly low.

So it's fine to do if I roll the guards my self and get the center's drilled out 1mm?

I forgot to mention I already have adjustable coils on it
