Hi all. Firstly to The Hawk, yes, I did get filtered out, but I am living in Malaysia. So I guess the filter is working as it should. Ended up getting a friend in Adelaide to register for me instead, worked fine.
As I said, I'm living overseas, but I'll move back to Adelaide in February. I have two young kids, so I wanted to have wheels ready to go when I arrive. Having read several forums, including whirlpool and briskoda (both of which referenced this forum), and seeing so many positive and happy owners, I bought a MY12 Octavia RS tsi from an Adelaide dealership, sight-unseen. Probably the most reckless thing I have done for quite a while. Can't wait to get behind the wheel, but in the meantime I'll be using the forum to get to know the car as well as possible.
