  • VIC Hi All

    Hello everyone,

I am Justin from Melb. I am considering to buy a small hatchback, not as hot as GTI. I used to think about 2014 Alfa Romeo Giulietta coz of its beautiful design and safety features. When it comes to build quality and sales figure, Giulietta has been put on waiting list.

Comparied with USA, we are ripped of by Mer, BMW, Audi (Sorry, I do not find any brand like Porche in my cost dictionary&#128540 while VW set a good example.

As a newbie, I will think and ask. Tkanks in advance for your advice and patience.

    Cheers,
    Justin

Can't go wrong with a Mk5/6 103TDI, or a 110TDI in the Mk7 range. Heaps of Torque and plenty of mileage. A genuinely quiet engine compared to most other Diesels as well.

The reason why our cars here cost far more than America is because there's a whole lot more people in America to sell too. Plus our import costs and tariffs don't really help our cause. It's a supply and demand thing an we're a small demographic compared to USA.

BINGO Deadpool! U r a mind reader. I go for110tdi for exact reasons.

I could not agree more on ripped-off issues. I wish AU brand Vehicle would come out and beat other brands
