Hi and welcome to the forum.

You should find all that you need about the RNS510 in the VW Car Audio and Electronics forum - just check out the http://www.vwwatercooled.com/forums/...-nz-69790.html thread.

Once you've sorted your RNS510 out then head over to the Tiguan area and spend the next couple of weeks reading the First Stop for Tiguan owners with links to all the main threads on upgrades/DIY/common issues (not that there are too many).

Welcome to the forum and congratulation on the Tiguan. When getting the RNS map upgrade, make sure that the version you downloaded is the right one, some downloads don't have the street names and have much less details. I always use the original map disc.
