  • vag scene in aus!!

Good day to all my fellow vags!! so im new on the forum and would just like to introduce myself. as my confirmation email stated when joining the forum i am indeed human and not an alien lol. i live in South africa and am relocating to melbourne next year. so being a huge vag fan an unable to pack my car in my bag and bring it with i am a little concerened about the vw and vag scene in aus?? i have been a passionate fan and owned plenty of vdubs. so my question is, how expensive is it to mod ur dub, are spares available and how avtive is the scene?

Hey buddy welcome to the forum! The vag and euro scene in General is very quickly picking up steam in Australia, and Melbourne seems very strong with the vag spirit. Aftermarket parts on the other hand, not so much. Though there are a few Australian companies now making some nice products for vag, mostly mk5 and later though

      Welcome!
Lots of mk5+ stuff can be easily accessed.
cars pre mk4 really need to have modifcations (coils, sways and so on) ordered in from the UK or US. Only a few people here stock or have hookups for the early stuff.

      What model VW interests you?
      Bora gone
      Vento VR6
      MKIV GSW TDI
      7P Touareg TDI
