  • ACT New to the joys of German ownership

    Greetings!

Having recently joined the ranks of those illustrious gents known as fathers I have come to the realisation that my wife's Renaultsport Megane would suffice for a short preiod of time with a new baby.

    However

By the miracle that is monozygotic twins, I have two gorgeous girls. The Megane then would not work as a baby carrying speed demon. As such i required something a little bigger. My head said Volvo but my heart said Audi RS4. As my wallet would not stretch to an Audi despite me asking the Universe many times, I had to compromise and get the RS4's baby brother the VW R36.

Its an 08 build, 09 complied with the updated stereo.
It drives a little differently to the Megane and the DSG was a little difficult to get used to but i wouldn't have anything else. Well maybe the aforementioned RS4 Avant.

You may have also seen my other love lurking in the garage:

My GTA is my true love (with exception of my wife and two girls ) and has a Q2 LSD, Bilstein B14s, 330mm Brembos, Eibach ARBs and an exhaust note to make a Ferrari blush.

Glad to be here and looking forward to the VWWC warmth.

    Cheers,

    Poki (Tim)
