Hi All, Just acquired a second hand polo Gti 9N and loving it - so tight, torquey and handles like a skate board. Ive had an RA23 twin cam celica (modified), MkII RS2000 escort (modified) and series 1 Peugeot 205 Gti (standard) and this is right up there with putting a smile on your face like they did. Have a million questions, so will search the threads first before I start picking your brains. thx Sam

Welcome to the forum buddy. Great little engine the 20vT is, any mods on the car so far?

No not yet. Going to go bit by bit on the handling side of things first. For the engine ill probably just do the seat intake, side mount intercooler vent in the wheel arch and down the track if I have some cash to burn do full 2.5 in exhaust w ecu flash.

If you reckon it handles like a skateboard now, wait until you get stiffer bushes and damping

Bet you it doesn't lift off oversteer like the 205 gti!

            Welcome.

Nice toy, if you think its torquey I'd say its already been chipped (not much in the way of power stock).

Def come and say hi in the Polo section, ask questions, ask for advise, we tend to be a helpful bunch I think...

That's true - they're not allowed to make cars like that anymore
