  • NSW Hi all, new here, in market for a R36 wagon, DSG concern

    Hi all,

My name is Joe from Sydney. I am in the market for a MY10/MY10.5 R36 wagon (Biscay Blue will be perfect).

So far I am still doing some research and found out a few things about the R36. The biggest concern for me is the DSG in the R36, read some bad stories about the DSG had to be replaced under warranty, if not you will be expecting to pay a big bill for that.

Are MY10 and MY10.5 R36s are safe to buy on the aspect of DSG? Did VW fix that issue for MY10/10.5?

Any other thing I need to pay attention to when I buy one?

    Thanks in advance!
