Hi guys,
First post on this forum, and keen to draw on some of your experience. I have just taken delivery of our new 2013 TF TDI340 Comfortline and keen to stamp my mark on this van. Whilst I have found lots of help already on this site, I am still scratching my head regarding the following;
1) My van is a "TF", yet I find little or no reference to these on this forum. There is plenty on t5, T5.1 and T5.2 but nothing on TFs. Could someone please point me to a site / post that explains the difference, cause as I see it my TF is a T5.2 ?
2) I am keen to upgrade the headlights to include DRL (daytime running lights), however, I have really struggled finding a retailer anywhere online who lists a Right Hand Drive version of these. Again, any direction would be appreciated.
3) Failing 2) above, I have considered installing a pair of these https://www.dectane.de/product_info....3d03a305934460 Has anyone had any experience of installing these into a 2013 multivan ? easy job for a DIY or do I need a mechanic ? Also will there likely be issues with the electrical system if I introduce these new DRLs ? It appears that there is a pull out section of the bumper between the foglight area and main headlights. What was this designed for if not DRLs ?
4) Does anyone know of an aftermarket supplier of a multiflex board ? I have found the frame online (Multiflex Board VW T5 Multivan Konsolen 1 1 Zuschnittvorlage Variante 1 | eBay) but cannot find the board/matress anywhere.
Sorry for such a long list but keen to get the van set up just right before we get to "used to it" the way it is.
