VIC new and prowed golf mk1 gti owner says " guten tag"

Well, i finally got a nice one!

... because back home in germany it is hard to find a decent mk1 gti for under 10 grant which is not half eaten away by rust!
I´m in australia for 3 years now and bought myself a new toy just a few weeks ago..











spendet a lot of time on her already, nearly every single nut and bolt got touched, just needs a bit more love...

yep! thats the one!... from volkspower. took my a few nights ( and beer ) to sort the wiring out but now everything is working and clean

Welcome and nice to see a clean MK1 GTI. What are the plans for it?

well i dont know yet! i´ll just put some coilovers in and get some wheel spacers. still thinking to put a vr6 in it next year but i dont know if it will drive very well with that heavy engine. its a bit too much for the mk2´s already...
