So I picked up the car this arvo and its all good......except

When accelerating (even relatively mildly) the there is a kind of crackling noise coming from the engine. The sound is a bit like distortion you might get form a speaker. The smooth engine noise was there behind it but this noise comes in addition. It is present only when accelerating/applying power, it happens in all gears and at all rpms but only when accelerating. When coasting it goes away regardless of the rpm.
I assume it might be turbo but I never heard it on any of the demo cars I test drove.
Any suggestions?
I'll be ringing the dealer in the morning anyway....
I guess this post should probably be elsewhere too.
