Hi all,
Just a quick one to say hi and that I am looking forward to going through this forum learning about my T5.
Traditionally i have only worked with wood and general building stuff (plaster etc). Anything that requires grease i have avoid maintaining myself. Hence i don't know a lot about cars or engines as i don't have much of an interest in them. Looking forward to learning though.
I have had a 2009 T5 for the last 2 years that i have converted to a campervan behind the second row seats. Love the car but would like to look after it better i.e. give it a more regular wash. We used Drifta for the camper set up and can't say a bad word about them.
Looking forward to going through this forum to see if anyone can recommend mechanics in the Hunter Valley outside of Perry Penfolds. We have moved away from Newcastle now so keen on hearing if there are any other recommendations.
Love VW Kombis and Transporters and eagerly look through the latest (UK) VW Camper magazines with envy.
Cheers all
