I've just started reading the forums and would like to introduce myself. I purchased a Golf MK6 77tdi back in February. No complaints so far and I'm loving the car! The fuel economy is completely amazing & I'm enjoying the performance of the vehicle.

I have a question straight up please. I have purchased an iPod connector cable for my RCD310.
I have experience installing head units but I'm wondering is this something I can do myself? Will I need a device to recode the car? I have not taken a look at the back of the rcd310 yet but is it obvious where the red power cable will go? I think everything else is pretty clear...
