Hello all,

Been lurking in the forums for a while so I thought I'd finally join. Recently purchased a black MY13.5 Polo GTI making it my 3rd VW and first DSG (dun dun dunnnn) Live in Brisbane QLD, love my cars and my VWs (so does the girlfriend luckily) and always keen for a good meet or mountain run.
A brief car history:
1st: Mazda 323 Protege in full asian P Plate spec (big exhaust, black wheels, gold body, racing wheel etc)
2nd: Nebio Blue 2003 VW Passat V6SE. Sunroof leaked, CVs died, used too much fuel, I wasn't old enough...
3rd: Reflex Silver 2008 VW Jetta 2.0TDI Manual. Excellent car, just a bit dull.
4th: Pearl Black 2013 VW Polo GTI. So far, so good, always wanted something with GTI cloth seats. Needs a 3rd pedal.

Bikes (still on my RE's)
1st: Suzuki VL250 Intruder. Stacked on the ICB, great excuse for a new bike.
2nd: Yamaha R15. The little engine that could.

The bosses car: 2012 VW Jetta 118tsi DSG. Now the cargo hauling car, brilliant bit of budget mid sized sedan. As seen in the background of the below photo

So if anyone wants to go for a drive or just tinker or talk cars, I'm always keen.

Hi and welcome to the forum. What's the R15 like to ride?

Certainly are some great people on here and even better info.
The r15 isn't bad as a lams bike, does 135 flat out at full tuck with a tail wind... But it's extremely nimble, fun to ride and cheap to run and buy. About 2.5l/100. I'm 6'3 and find it fairly comfy, i can do gold coast and back without cramping or getting a numb butt. Let us know if you want a go.
