Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I'm new to VW's but not to turbos. Coming from the Twin Turbo Z32 world. I love my MK4.

Thanks! Glad to be here. I love it more every time I get behind the wheel. Just need stupid DOT verified headlights. The US doesn't like the glad headlight lenses.

            Welcome to the forum.

That is one great looking mk4, especially in that colour.

Tell us a bit more about it?

2003 GTI with an almost complete 337 interior (missing the pillars and headliner). R pedals, GIAC X-Plus tune, N75"e", stock K03Sport turbo on 23 lbs. (about 1.55 Bar), R32 front bumper, BBS RC wheels, VMaxx coilovers, 42DraftDesigns exhaust and downpipe with cat, Nuespeed short shifter, Tyrolsport shift bushings, Neuspeed sway bars, Eurosport FMIC, FK projector headlights with Glass lenses. That's all I can think of at the moment.

Not a lot done but she's clean and I love her. Haha. I love the Indigo color, too. I need to get my hands on a R32 front plate bracket since my state requires front plates. Thanks for the welcome. Some sexy cars in AU

Welcome. Very good looking, the ride height and BBS wheels work very well with the car.

Thank you all for the kind words. I really like the ride height but would like to switch coilovers in the future. They are just a tad too bouncy.

Except the OEM hid's. VW did not bring those over. But yeah, the 337 seats are my favorite. Someone is selling a set of 20th AE seats for $100 near my house. Too bad I don't need them.

From what I read on other forums, yes. Not even the R32. it would've been to expensive for VW to get them tested for US roads. USA road rules are stupid.
