I have just purchased a new VW Passat 130TDI Highline Sedan after owning a 2009 Passat. It has many extras but not the Adaptive Cruise Control etc.

I wanted to get a Bonnet Protector but was told that one is not made for this model as it would effect the radar on the adaptive cruise control.

Is there anywhere I may be able to get a non genuine VW acrylic bonnet protector?

Welcome mate...as far as I'm aware there will be a gen vw bonnet protector for the new passat, just not been released as yet...not sure why its taking so long to come out...VDUB...
