VIC I'm new

Hi guys,

New to the site,

At present I own 2 golfs, 1 mk6 bluemotion golf but i also have a 83 MK1 Golf Gti which I am currently importing from the uk.

No need to mention the bluemotion as its boring...but the MK1 will be one of the best around, not been biased here its just been in the family 22 years, my uncle is the second owner and has had it parked up for almost 7years and he decided to sell it and gave me first refuseal...how could i say no haha. It is total oringinal and i cannot wait to get it acorss. Pics will follow as soon as i recieve them.

If anyone has imported before and can give me anytips that would be good.

Welcome Neil,

Congrats and the mk1 GTI. Will be a rare car out here, and would be good to see in the flesh (eventually)!

As for importing, have a search on this forum, as the topic has been covered a number of times, and you should find most of the information already there.
