Hi. Joined the forum as my girlfriend is looking for a 2005 Golf 2 litre FSI Triptonic auto to buy and I'm trying to find out how reliable these are, especially the autos. Done some searches already and getting some good info. She's got one picked out and it seems to drive ok, no thumps when cold and smooth changes but we're still a bit wary.
