Hi all, I am from Sydney and drive a VW Golf GTI MkV and wondering whether the Mk7 is worth changing for. I found this forum through various google searches for improving audio in a Golf.

Hey fellow MkVer, welcome to the Forum.

It all depends on what you're looking for in the upgrade. If you're looking for more power, you won't find it until the GTI comes out and you could just get your car tuned for far less. If you're looking for a new car, then by all means. If you want to swap your GTI for a MkVII I'd suggest doing so before the new GTI comes as when it does your car's resale value will pretty much die in the butt thanks to the new GTI.
