Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Karmann Ghia enthusiast Introduction

    Hello All

Name is Geoff, owned Karmann Ghia's for almost 15 years now both in the UK and Australia. Moved to Singapore and had my 1968 KG convertible up for sale for a while. A punter came to test drive it last week and wrote it off!!!

So I was going to post a link to the ebay sale on here but after reading the rules I understand I'm not allowed too. I know how hard parts for these are to come by so I thought it may benefit everyone but Im not one to break rules so I wont.

On the flip side, I am on the lookout for either a Karmann Ghia convertible or a T3 Camper (or older Combi) to buy. Im looking for excellent examples of each, doesnt really matter where they are in the world, I will be importing to Australia.

So Ill keep an eye out on this board, and thanks for having me

    Regards

    Geoff
