Hi all, I am the new owner of a 94 Black VR6 MKIII Golf, this is the first Golf i have owned and am so far impressed. I have been a member of the VW family in the past through assorted beetles and kombis. My VR6 has the usual faults i am slowly working my way through, ABS light on, power window problems, stuffed front strut tops, coil overs fitted already but shocks are knackered so need replacing anyway. I find forums are usually the best way to solve problems or find answers so i became a member. I look forward to being in the VW family again. Pete
PS. Does anyone know a good site for reliable strut tops and bearings. Bought a set from England, lasted about 3 km before the strut punched straight through the rubber strut top. I need something with metal reinforcing like the factory ones appear to have in them.
