Hi all, Peter here,
I have a 1997 T4 Transporter 2.5ltr Petrol AET motor that i have owned for around 7 years, and have joined the forum to help with some problems that i am having and generally get to know my car better.
At the moment its broken down and im in the process of finding the problem.
So any help would be greatly appreciated.
Problem is it gives a splutter and stops running, wont start, so have to tow home.
Pull lots of stuff off and put back together (throttle body, fuel filter, coil etc) and it goes for a few days and stops again.
Changed the fuel pump and filter, ran for 2 months ok then this week spluttered and stopped again.
Now im in the process of going right through the system to get a better understanding of all the bits and pieces that make it go.
