Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi guys.
    First time in this forum.
    Am currently researching to buy a new car in about 6 to 7 month time.
    Jetta is currently on the top of the list. Followed by the new Kia Cerato.

    I currently own Nissan Maxima 250 ST-L, Toyota Corolla AE101 csi. In the same house, dads ride is Merc C250 CGI.
    So the one looking to be replaced is the Corolla.

    Just wanted to find out more about VW and Jetta.

    Nice to meet you all VW fans.

    Jettas are great,but seem to be struggling in the market place a bit when compared to traditional mid sizers such as the Honda Accord Euro,Mazda 6,and Toyota Camrys.

    But maybe better to compare them to smaller sedans such as Mazda 3,Honda Civic,Toyota Corolla...and as you say Kias new Cerato,and Hyundai Elantra,Holden Cruze,MItsubishi Lancer,and Ford Focus.

    So so so much competition out there..................
