Hi all, Glen here...

After many years of coveting the MKV GTI and then the MKVI, I finally took the plunge and picked up a 2010 (MY11) MKVI GTI, black, DSG with 20,000kms on the clock.

Absolutely thrilled with it. Now considering things like whether to upgrade to Detroits, retro-fit some bluetooth and other audio goodies and potentially a tune down the track.

Glen, nice to see another GTI owner, I was the same as you, wanted a GTI since I was a L-plater and the MKV was just launched, you won't regret your choice. Which area of Adelaide are you in?

Sadly no, unless you count 0-60 runs in peak hour traffic lol - hopefully get a chance on the cruise to get a better feel for things. You can definitely feel there's a fait bit more under the right foot though, and a lot more pick-up down low.
