ACT Hi, New New Beetle Turbo Owners

Hiya All,

My wife is the proud new owner of a 2001 turbo Beetle, it needs a few things done to it to pass rego so I've been searching around in here. Just popping in to say hi as instructed.

Welcome to the forum and congrats in the Beetle.

If you haven't found them already, Canberra VW Centre in Belconnen are highly recommended if you're looking for someone to take care of those pre-rego issues.

James, I'm pretty good friends with Charles at CVWC (he's made me throw up in his rally MK1 Golf before) and the Beetle will be off up there for having some things fixed in the next couple of weeks.

Things we got pinged for are lower control arm bushes (I'm going to R&R the arms, and get CVWC to replace the bushes), oil leaks which hopefully just need a good degrease underneath, and an atmo venting BOV (we have a stock one that CVWC are going to swap in for us).
