Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Another newbie..

    Hello everyone,

    I'm from the US and have been driving VW's for over two decades, namely MKII's. I've just recently purchased a MKV GTI 6sp with a Revo stage 1 tune, as well as other goodies. It came with FK Streetlines and a 27mm RSB already installed. I quickly realized the sway bar was cracked. Lame!! I also wasn't very fond of the Streetlines so I bought some new Bilstein PSS10's that I have yet to install. I also purchased a new Hotchkiss 27mm RSB to replace the old cracked one.. still need to install that as well. Yesterday I installed the ANS810 navi/radio and love it! The radio is what actually brought me to this site...

    Here's a few pics of the GTI... nothing special though, just cell phone pics. She's a work in progress. I still haven't decided on wheels but I like the OZ Superturismos.. might be getting some soon.
