Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC MK5 GTI Pirelli

    Hi guys
Just got my hands on a GTI Pirelli a few months back - luv it!!!
Fully stock, fully optioned , just added open vents on the fog lights looks sweet.
Looking for an intake, thinking Forge Twintake? Anyone got an opinion? Then looking for a tune REVO or APR, again looking for help on this.

Anyway hope to talk some more with you guys

I've got a Twintake on my MkV GTI. If you're ever at one of the Garage Cafe, Kebab Joint, or Reefton meets you'll see me around and you can have a listen.

GIAC instead. Hit up Tim @ dubaddiction. Cheaper than REVO and APR, gives the same results.

    Welcome to the Forum.

Do it yourself. Takes about two hours and plenty of swearing. Damn thing is about 8 - 10 pieces of pain in the ass buggering around. It looks bloody good and sounds epic though.

Sourced it from Parts4Euro. Looking back on it I should've sourced it from Ian @ Rennenhaus. He's just in NSW, not far from us.

There is one being sold on the Forum right now that would fit your Pirelli as well: http://www.vwwatercooled.com/forums/...uff-84930.html
