    Hi

After six long months I have just picked up my Passat. I waited so long I got the latest engine update free.
Trying to work my around the technology. Went in with a pile of CDs to copy onto the harddrive. Realised then that it would only take MP3 and WMA.
Loaded up a SD card and still cant get the music to copy onto the HDD. Bcck to the manual. Read the manual and thought wow I may have Digital radio and TV, who are you kidding. Hoping for upgrades to come.

Never driven a diesel before, sounds like a truck with the drivers window open, goes well. No feel from the steering and floats along the road.

    I love it.

      Welcome to the forums mate.
Have a read of the electronics section of the forum for some idea on how to load up music onto the hard drive.

Hope we can get you out to some of our events.

        Thanks for replies.

Main issue at the moment is I cant activate the rain sensing wipers.

I will check the electronics section

Welcome to the oily side of the service station. Beware the high flow truck pumps!!

The rain sensing wipers are a bit overactive, and you may find that even after enabling it, you will bypass that setting on the stalk. I believe wipers are under "Comfort"???

My only other advice is to run main brands of diesel, BP, Caltex or Shell, bargain diesel has nipped quite a few in the butt over the years.

Remember a diesel takes thousands of KM's to totally run in cylinder wise, so don't be too gentle on it.
