Hi Folks,
What do you mean I have to actually write stuff, I cannot just LLuuuurk and gather info. no worries!
I have a 2005 T5 128kw stock. I found this forum looking for information.
My bus is in at Wolfsburg motors in St peters (Syd) on Monday for the Alternator/AC clutch-hub to be replaced, and hoping it doesn't require an AC unit as the result of coupling failure.
Also need shocks all round as the rears are dribbling more than a 14 year old boy at a swimsuit catalogue shoot. So being a 4motion I'm going up, not LOW, yes I am going against the grain. as much as I would like to stretch my steely rims to 15" (wide) and drag the fuel tank along the road. So I ordered these What could possibly go wrong, roll eyes, roll eyes!
Other things on the list are to
Not necessarily in that order, not necessarily in this millenium if the wife finds that list!
I freaking love this car!
-Pulls harder than that 14 year old mentioned earlier!
-Fits 5 people and a dirt bike in the back!
-gets stuck up to it's gills on the north end of some north coast beach, to be rescued by none other than an Amarok of all things!
So Hi all, glad to see a community of TDiDak TDiDak lovers out there
Cheers
Rob

Other things on the list are to
- fit bigger wheels,
- blank the EGR off,
- free flow the exhaust where I can,
- chip/remap,
- sound deaden the whole tin box,
- re-do the rear floor,
- aluminium checkerplate to the rear and side doors,
- maybe add some vinyl to the rear sides, with some stow pockets for the kids in the back.
Not necessarily in that order, not necessarily in this millenium if the wife finds that list!
