Howdy,
I'm in the process of learning the ways of the religion of the Watercooled VW. My entry into this esteemed group happens to be the entry level model sold by VW here in Oz: the up! Given that I do more than 30,000km per year and live in a small country town where the nearest VW dealer is 160km away, a few people I know think I'm a little bit mental.
However, I want to prove a point to them and to myself ... it IS possible to live comfortably with a very small car in a very big country.
That said, I'm only taking the up! on a 12 month novated lease because I'm hoping by this time next year, the up! GT will be available.
I've seen VWWatercooled mentioned on loads of car and other forums ... I figured if I could find a sympathetic audience anywhere, it'd be here.
