New to the VW Scene, ex BMW Fan

Hey All,

Just joined the VW scene with the new addition of a VW Bora '03 model V5. Been a BMW fan for the past 7 years, mainly on engine rebuilds, diagnostic programming and restorations. Always watched the Dub scene especially with all the GTI & R32 build projects but never liked the Golf rear end until the MKV range, so i substituted for the Bora.
Can't wait to get my hands dirty with a new diagnostic system (new for me anyways, VAS-PC i believe).

Welcome! The V5 Bora's are very nice to drive, and looks wise in and out are incredibly well fitted from stock.

Thanks all, totally agree with the rear end part, interior is quite nice also. Just wondering if bi-xenon conversion and/or blacking out the chrome headlight border black? suggestions?

Getting genuine Rhd projectors is near impossible.
Few aftermarket options out there, or can retro fit one in.
The half joey mod is easy, I did it with a spare set of lights and it cleans up the front end a lot
