Warm welcome to VWW, and it's nice to see Euro and JDM passions can co-exist peacefully.
I loved your Hondas, and I did meet you once, years ago at a Mt Coot-Tha Honda meet (I think you gave us the rundown on the fixed roof for the S2000).... years ago anyway, I was tagging along with a mate in a silver EG (now has a noisy yellow one, black regamasters). That twin-turbo NSX was there too (mental). Anyways, welcome and enjoy your VW'ing. Keep us posted on how it all goes.

haha Alex Pope! Good friend of mine I don't see him often enough.

I actually organised that meet! Was a record that day 18 S2000's, Australia's largest meet (at the time, record even stood for a few years!).

And as luck would have it, the owner of that twin turbo NSX is picking up a few spare parts off me when he's back in Brisbane in early April.

      Small world.

Yes indeed, he was a house mate of some high school friends, went to school with people I know etc, good man, everyone knows everyone Brisbane sort of deal. Was a great meet, wasn't a massive Honda fan at the time (didn't dislike them, but was still scared off from the late 1990s era of EG/EK sedan modding, cannon > neons... all that, no probs those kids have VWs now... **runs and hides**) so it was great to see two of my favourite Honda codes there in force, shame we don't have many classic Hondas here, when I lived in NZ there were some JDM treasures to be spotted daily (e.g. primary School teachers Hondamatic ). I did also know the gatecrasher in the cammed Commodore SS (**still hiding**), which managed to leave under 3000rpm and not spraying everyone with gravel, which was a surprise.

Now that Easter is over, things can return back to normal.
Should be back on the road within the next fortnight.
