Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC Howdy from Glen Waverley

    Hello,

My names Trav and I'm from Glen Waverley. I have had my MK5 GTI for almost 3 years and absolutely love it. At the moment it's on the side of the road with a flashing CEL and a stuttering engine GRRRR.

I have slighty modded my golfball by installing a full APR 3" stealth exhaust system and aFe stage 2 pod intake. I'm running the APR stage 2 tube. I have also retro fitted the RNS-510 and installed the P3cars multifunction gauge.

I also had my skirts and front and rear bars colour matched when I had a run in with a heavy rigid truck. He won the battle but I won the war and was not out even my excess.

I should also note that my lil golf ball is a 2006 build in white with leather and a sun roof and has just ticked over 102000kms. Still with stock wheel but would love a set of VWR 18" rims.

    Well that's my intro

    Cheers
    Trav.
