Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • 2010 Superb Elegance Tdi DSG Wagon

Hi. The car is comfy (apart from the right hand side seat bolster), luxurious (apart from the rattly speakers) and economical (5.6L per 100kms). It's even quite nippy, although when I want to go properly quickly I have a track car.

It came from the dealer in Brighton who has now closed down. Anyone know if Skoda Australia are going to pick up the extra 2 year warranty deal?

Wecome . Let's be honest practical for the street and a dedicated track car is the best way to go. None of the trouble and all of the fun.

If only I could find time on the weekend to go to the track.......

If only the track car was no trouble. It did a piston at the end of lap one of what should have been a full weekend of racing a few weeks ago. At least I got 3 seasons out of it and 70,000kms of road use before it temporarily expired.
