Hey everyone!
Moved to Sydney about 6months ago, I work in mobile & web development for the day job.
Super stoked that there is a living and breathing VW club and culture here!
I was pretty involved in the VW Club in South Africa, did lots of events and ran the Durban branch for a while.
I've built 2 race cars and was pit crew for some guys in the VW Silver Cup. did a few motor swaps at home.
I think my favourite was my last, an old school VW caddy pickup, 110kw at the wheels on a built 2.0L motor - 288 cam, aftermarket engine management, big valves, ported & polished head, 83mm re-bore with forged 2.6 caravelle pistons and a couple other tricks
I will see if I can get some pics and details to post a thread.
Out on the scout for a VW here, looks like a MK3 is the best bet at the moment, never had one
