Hey everyone. I'm from Brisbane and I have a 2011 Golf GTI. Went with a manual and been regretting it ever since. I came to this forum for all the pretty pictures people post of their cars .

I've owned my car since new and are now bored. Time to spend more money!

Should have got the DSG I guess. Then I'd be complaining about it I stead and wishing I got a manual :p.

Every now and then i wish i had DSG too, but then i hear all the horror stories and enjoy my issue free Manual.

Hey there.... don't be down on the stick shift. I had a Mk5 with a stick it was very cool... Go get yourself a stage 1 tune (if you havent already) and you will fall in love again.

Put some $50 shift bushings in the manual, or if you want a tiny throw, get a short shift kit. Changes the feel entirely.

Just search "DSG failure", and start to feel better about your choice, they rock when they are going, but when they don't.......not so much.
