Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW VW Polo GTI seats

    Hi All,

    Proud owner of a new white Polo GTI MY13 model with bixenon lights.
    This website has been a good source of ideas, inspirational pictures and information on how VW cars work.

    I've just got a simple question for your opinion: I want to protect my seats- is it worth buying seat covers or does that kill the look of the car? I've got the standard jacky tartan cloth seats. If you know of good seat covers, please let me know the source.

    Personally, I reckon the seats should be proudly displayed, not covered by seat covers!
    They look great, and remind you each time you get in that you have a special little rocket!...

    Just be sensible and dont get them dirty.

            VWindahouse, I think your answer is the bottom line- (I forgot about the seat airbags) so seat covers are ruled out due to safety perspective!
