Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD GTI Newbie from Brissy

    Hi Guys,

    purchased a 2012 Golf GTI about two weeks and couldn't be happier. I can't help back look back at the car after parking it (yes I know sad).

    Previously owned a Ford and the difference is so great.

    Heard about this Forum from a previous owner of a Golf, who unfortunately has turned to the dark side and purchased a Hyundai..

    Anyway, I hope to learn more about my car via this forum.

          I have a white GTI, with detroit wheels and tinted windows. Just wish it had Led daytime running lights, but pricey to change them at $2,000 plus intallation. For now will just install the sat nav.
