Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Newbie Perth R36

    Hi All,

    I have an R36 wagon (reflex silver) which I bought new from Adelaide back in 2010. Wanted to get on the forum to check out everyones mods - just put a set of VMR 19s on mine in gunmetal. Very excited about VW's performance in the first two rounds of the WRC - an outright win in the Polo Rs second event is pretty cool! Hope to run into some other R36 owners in Perth sometime!

    Hi Scott,

    Welcome to VWW and enjoy your stay. Do look into the 'events' section for the weekly saturday morning coffee sessions. Great place and atmosphere to meet and discuss VW stuff, as there are a few very experienced guys there. Pretty sure I saw an R36 wagon the last time I went down too.

        Hey I'm in Perth too. Just picked up a 155 Tiguan, far from an R36 I know but still a nice car. Are the meet ups restricted to high performance VW's or are they open for all?

          Anyone part of the VAG family, or even lovers of VAG who drive say BMWs are welcome to attend any of the arrangements.

          there may be a track day and a drive/pizza meet in the near future
