Hey everyone, I'm now the proud owner of walshydub's '84 mk2 GT
It has had two owners since himself and a few things have changed.
It came with a spare set of tail lights so I slowly smoked them with night shades and didn't want too much of a glossed look so I used a flame proof clear coat containing ceramic.
The seller didn't want to part with the ATS type 5 wheels so I was rolling on steelies for about 6 weeks before buying some BBS RSs for $400 and separating them to do some polish work but ultimately lost interest and sold them for more.
2 weeks ago, I picked up some Simmons B45s which had 195/60s on I believe, but already had some money down on 4 185/55s so I optioned with them also because of the considerably smaller tyrewall.
I believe the first buyer in Tas didn't pay attention to the note that the guards had been rust-repaired on the flares and decided to pull them out further, which in turn, made them look terrible. That's the next thing I'm working on.
I'll upload some photos soon
