Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hello all...newbie here waiting on my new Golf Cabriolet

    Hi all
    just waiting on my new Cabrio DSG
    I've heard lot about the 1.4 TSI and DSG and thats my biggest concern to date which made me come here to discuss with you guys
    any ways got 3 years warranty and thinking of getting it extended to 5 years same as the DSG box
    Also thinking of APR Stage 1
    Just been looking around the forums and seems worth it
    any views opinions on TSI, DSG AND APR appreciated
