Hi all, it's great to have a forum of like owners
why is it costing me $450 to get a new ignition key for my caddy from the nearest VW dealer in brisbane ????. a very respected local locksmith said he couldn't make me one

$450 , because they can

try another locksmith

my local locksmith says he can clone an existing key so it doesnt need to be programmed

i havent asked him about vw but as i said i would try another locksmith

You could try to make your own...seems to work for MK4s dont know about caddys though.
