Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    MKV R32- Brisbane

    Hello all,

    Last weekend I managed to pick up my MKV R32 all the way from Sydney. Flew down in the morning and drove it back same day.

    Coming from a W202 Mercedes C200, this car is amazing! It's 10000 times nicer to drive, DSG shifts like butter, it's quick, sounds awesome, but OH MY GOODNESS the Recaros were not comfortable for the 11hr drive back!!!!

    You won't find much disagreement with you there man. They're definitely not grand tourer seats.

    Congratulations on the buy though. The car looks great.

      I know how u feel did the same thing just went to Melbourne to get mine i got the manual and wish i had recaros but on other hand the seats where heaps comfortable on a long drive.

        Nice ride.
        Hope we can get you out to some of our events.

        I would be happy to swap my regular comfy seats with your recaro's to "ease your pain"
