Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hooroo from Bacchus Marsh.

    Hey guys, just a quickie to say hello.
    Hope to be picking up my first Passat very shortly.
    Not new to the VW scene, but will be my first water cooled VW.
    Will post up some picks asap.

      Cool. Gotta give you guys a big pat on the back. Used to deal with Ambo's quite a bit in my previous employment......
      I also notice you live in Gburg !
      I myself am a Baxter House Boy.
      Born and bred in G. Spent the first 5 years in Lara, and the rest in..........Bell Park !

            Well i picked up my new project this afternoon.
            1977 Passat LS automatic sedan.
            Drove it to the Marsh from Bendigo and she ran sweet all the way. Sat on 90/100kms all the way.
            Very happy.
            Drive home also gave me time to formulate a plan of attack......
            I am trying to post up a photo but can't seem to do it from my android tablet. Anyone else have the same problem or am I just doing it wrong ?
