Greets vww world. Just so you know who I am and why I'm cruising around your forum. .. my name is Simon and I'm in the ACT.

Current ride is a 2005 Subaru Liberty GT. First ever turbo and certainly won't be the last.
Why is a Suby driver so keen on the vww forum? Besides the general enthusiasm of the regulars and what seems to be a generally helpful attitude in all the comments I've seen so far, I actually came across the forum because I was researching a possible new car.
Pretty happy to report I will be taking delivery of a 2013 Polo GTI in late April. Will come optioned with Alcantara seats, bi-xenons and a sunroof.
Despite the reported oil consumption and dsg issues I am pretty excited and can't wait to get into my new ride.
I look forward to sharing your enthusiasm, stealing more of your mod ideas and hopefully sharing something useful myself to make sure its not just take take take!
