Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi all greetings from Australia!
    Have read comments from your site for a while, currently drive a Golf R although they are detunned for Australia. Interested to see if the new Audi motor is slotted into the next Golf R.Has anybody had any success with chipping the Golf R ?

    Welcome!! This is an Aussie based forum so you'll find lots of useful info that can actually be used. Heaps of people with Golf R's have had them tuned and modded. APR or Viezu seem to have great tunes. There are others as well but they are the 2 that stand out for me. Jeez isn't your R fast enough?
