Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Yes just started Grade 12 and am doing the Queensland equivalent; OP course. So perhaps having my license is going to be a big distraction from my school work haha

Have read deeply throughout all the Mk3 DIY's over the last two months and so far have managed to do the following:

        Recovered headliner
Replaced tail lights with M3 style lenses
Replaced front indicators & repeaters with clear counterparts
        Installed front fogs
        New wheels and tyres
Mk4 style gear shift knob and boot
        Installed keyless entry system
And of course the obligatory teenage boy sound system; with splits all around, new headunit, sub and monoblock

Need to get the aircon re-gassed and then once i have my license i plan to have the windows tinted and finally buy a set of coilovers
