Hii folks...

I just hope someone will give me answer on my question which driving me mad...
I got 2009 passat tdi with 85.000 on clock...Car is beautiful and would not change but...i do not understand gear shift..
Now, i am driving car on 50 Km at 5 th gear...Is that normal or my turbo gone...?
Normally, i drive 60 km on 1200 rpm...80 km on 1400 and 100 km on 1800 rpm...
So, can someone explain to me if this all normal..

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure why you would think the turbo has gone. That has nothing to do with road speed and gear selection.

By the way does it have a manual or DSG gearbox.

The DSGs are pretty good at picking a gear too high.

I have DSG...sorry, i am new in this one...so, what is mean turbo in tdi series?
Also, my question is...is rpm in my car normal?

There's nothing wrong with the car. Gear ratios will not be the same as your previous cars. Diesels tend not to rev as high as petrols, as they produce more torque.

Google turbocharger for an explanation of what they do. Saves me loads of typing.
